I've always wanted my son to learn to play the guitar, and to celebrate him wearing out his first set of strings (with so much practicing !) I made a bracelet out of them, and added a bell to keep the music going. 

Though I had bought him an acoustic guitar a few years ago, it took the video game Guitar Hero to get him to want to play it....as he was speeding along at the Expert level of that video game, he had a revelation:  Why not play the real thing?? 

Now he has taught himself his favorite songs from Hoobastank, etc., and I'm as pleased as he is about it!
