Bead embroidery is one of my favorite hobbies, because it's extra portable and there's no pattern to follow. Just mix up a batch of bead stew, put it in a small tube or baggie, take along 2 needles (in case you drop one and lose it), and beading thread, with the form or piece that you are embroidering/ It's peaceful and fun, with beautiful results.
I've listed the Cool Cat Doll on Etsy (look for busycrowstudio at www.etsy.com). He's 15" tall, and is full of attitude, from his pointy ears to his fuzzy black jacket. He is a sassy study in black and white!
